ADDENDUM: A Personal Moment
Periodically, the question of “why” has been asked me in regard to the areas of study and training I have passionately pursued all these years. It has taken me almost seven decades to finally “get it” and take my place in the order of things. So here I stand…and happily share my answer:
“From birth, I have been provided the opportunity to experience the co-existence of
other realms, learning—often through painful error & periodically with blessed assistance—to listen, to trust, to discern, and to understand and honor the relationship between the seen and the unseen. A double-edged sword, I have simultaneously gratefully accepted the honor and been humbled by the responsibility that accompanies this relationship. It has always been apparent that any wisdom gleaned from walking between worlds is not for myself alone-it has been made clear to me from the outset that it is meant to be shared in order to facilitate and assist with clarity, empowerment, purpose and acceptance of our Divine nature. It is by doing so that, as a stone tossed into a still pond, the effects will ripple out to reach others, reminding us of the truth of the Lakota phrase “Mitakuye Oyasin”—We are all related.” dhp
